Welcome to NerdLedger. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our app and website, found at www.nerdledger.tech. By accessing or using any part of NerdLedger, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Who We Are

NerdLedger Pty Ltd (“NerdLedger”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides an app that helps collectors track, value, and manage their collectible items using AI tools and live market data.

2. Eligibility

To use NerdLedger, you must:

 

  • Be at least 13 years old (or older if required in your country)

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

  • Agree to comply with these Terms

 

If you are using NerdLedger on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to agree to these Terms on its behalf.

3. Account & User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • You agree not to share your account or impersonate another user.

  • You agree to use NerdLedger only for lawful purposes and not to abuse, exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app or its data sources.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, logos, code, design elements, and AI-generated content within NerdLedger are either owned by us or properly licensed. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of NerdLedger without written permission.

 

Your personal collection data remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and display it within the app.

5. AI & Third-Party Services

NerdLedger integrates with third-party services to deliver features like:

 

  • Image recognition (via Ximilar)

  • Item descriptions or recommendations (via OpenAI)

  • Market pricing and availability (via eBay API)

 

We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party data or services. Use of these tools is at your own discretion.

6. Pricing & Valuation Disclaimer

NerdLedger provides estimated market values for collectibles using live or recent pricing data. These values are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice or guarantees.

 

We do not appraise, certify, or guarantee the market value of any item.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use NerdLedger to:

 

  • Upload harmful, illegal, or offensive content

  • Use bots or scripts to extract data

  • Scrape pricing or image data

  • Interfere with our servers or attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the service

  • Sell or redistribute NerdLedger content without permission

 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any abuse, at our sole discretion.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the platform in a way that risks our infrastructure or violates any law.

 

Upon termination, you lose access to your account, but we may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. fraud prevention, audit logs).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

 

  • NerdLedger is provided “as is” and “as available”

  • We make no guarantees that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accurate

  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from your use of NerdLedger, including reliance on price estimates or AI-generated content

 

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NerdLedger Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal expenses arising out of:

 

  • Your use or misuse of NerdLedger

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of third-party rights

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in-app. Continuing to use NerdLedger after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

 

If you’re in another country, you may still have rights under your local consumer or privacy laws.
